Thunder Ridge residents have the opportunity for curbside garbage/recycling/yardwaste service via Waste Management.  See the Waste Management link for fees, the collection schedule, what is currently accepted in their recycling container.  Currently, the collection day for Thunder Ridge is Wednesdays.  Garbage service is every week.  Recycling and yardwaste are collected every other week.  You also can pay for more than one yardwaste can.

Camano Transfer Station Garbage/Recycling/Yardwaste + More 

Residents can also utilize the Camano Transfer Station trash and recycling services, whether or not you have signed up for curbside service.   The Camano Transfer Station also accepts other types of items including Hazardous Waste, Demolition and Construction Debris, etc.

 

Please note that your dump fee has two parts:  a fixed fee and a fee based on your load weight.  If you make multiple trips in a day for the same type of material, you only are required to pay the fixed fee portion on your first load.  On the subsequent loads, you will only be assessed the weight-based fee for that load type.  For example, if you are doing spring clean-up and take multiple yardwaste loads to the dump in a single day, you only pay the full fee on your first load.  On subsequent yardwaste loads that same day, show your original receipt and you will only be assessed the weight-based fee for the loads of the same type.
